
Two people have been confirmed dead after the motorcycle (Boda Boda) by which they were traveling, was knocked by a speeding car at Kitubulu, along Entebbe road in Katabi town council, Wakiso district. The accident happened on Sunday morning at around 6:30a.m when a motor vehicle Toyota Fielder UBK 114U from Entebbe, knocked a motorcycle bajaj boxer UFP 988K also coming from Entebbe.
Yudaya Uthman a resident of Kitubulu, where the accident occurred, narrated how a speeding Fielder screeched a bajaj with its occupants before they both (vehicle and motorcycle) kissed the trench along Entebbe road. The cyclist was knocked from behind, squealing off the road before its occupants hit heads to adjacent barricades.

The deceased cyclist was only identified as Musa whereas his demised passenger was identified as Vianney Muganga commonly known as DJ Aison. “He was a resident DJ at Capital Pub in Entebbe municipality and was coming back from his usual night work when he met his ultimate fate,” noted another resident.
Meanwhile, the driver of the motor vehicle was retrieved alive and taken to a yet-to-be identified medical facility. He was yet to be identified by press time but sources said, he works at Entebbe airport. Both bodies were taken to Entebbe referral hospital.

The incident comes just a day after a total of 32 pupils from Trust Infant Primary school in Nakaseke district, were involved in an accident at Nkumba traffic lights along the same road. The students who were headed for a tour to Entebbe zoo and the airport, survived with minor injuries after a bus UBA 839B by which they were traveling, overturned.
